Why Choose  Roots Recovery?

We don’t just treat addiction at Roots Recovery, we treat people. Recovery from addiction doesn’t just mean getting sober, it means gaining the knowledge, life experience, and support you need to maintain sobriety throughout your entire life.

At Roots, we use evidence-based addiction treatment and holistic therapies to ensure our clients have a truly comprehensive recovery experience geared towards healing their mind, body, and spirit. We focus on cultivating a strong, stable foundation centered around community-based support and helping our clients learn the personal, professional, and “real world” skills they need to achieve the future they’ve always wanted.

Our
Treatment Programs

Day Treatment

In our day treatment program at Roots Recovery, clients are empowered to take their first steps to a life free of addictive substances. For five days out of the week, we build skills for sobriety, establish goals for recovery and help our clients achieve those goals through counseling, sponsorship, and teaching professional and life skills.

Intensive Outpatient

A step down from day treatment, we hold intensive outpatient treatment four days each week for clients who have re-entered society as productive, sober individuals. Our engaging curriculum focuses on reinforcing the 12-steps while working on mindfulness, meditation, coping skills, stress management, and more.

Outpatient Program

As the final transition between programming at Roots Recovery and total reintegration into society, our outpatient program will help clients work towards long-term sobriety and happiness. Through group, individual, and partner work, we strengthen relationship and coping skills to aid our clients during their recovery journey.

Sober Living

Our gender-specific sober living homes provide clients with the structure, accountability, and peer support they need to remain focused on their recovery. During treatment, sober living provides clients with a safe, comfortable base where they can begin to rebuild their social and professional lives. In this environment, recovery is prioritized, life skills are learned, fellowships are built, and lives are changed.

Our
Recovery Services

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addiction recovery at Roots. We leverage various modalities and provide individualized counseling and therapy tailored to each client to ensure they achieve and maintain a lifelong recovery.

On a regular basis, clients will have designated time to spend with their counselor in a one-on-one setting. Our licensed counselors provide clients with a safe, confidential, and welcoming environment to discuss their substance abuse disorder and recovery goals, uncovering the root of their addiction and treating it at its source.

Addiction never affects just one person. When clients are ready, we encourage them to invite their loved ones in to have an open and honest conversation about what each person needs from the other to heal. During group therapy, a handful of clients will work with a counselor to discuss addiction, learn skills for sobriety, and build fellowship.

At Roots Recovery, we believe in substance abuse treatment that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our clients. Using the core principles of the 12-steps, we help our clients attend productive, positive 12-step meetings that provide encouragement and solution-based discussions for recovery.

Addiction and mental illnesses can feed off of one another, and in order to truly heal, both need to be addressed. As a dual diagnosis treatment center, we help clients battling with co-occurring disorders — such as alcoholism paired with anxiety or depression — access the tools they need to heal and cope with the stressors of everyday life.

While we take addiction recovery seriously, we still ensure that our clients can enjoy themselves and build lasting friendships. In both our residential living and outpatient programs, we foster building a community that encourages life-long sobriety, because starting a new life free of addiction requires support.

Roots recovery housing changed the trajectory of my life. I was going nowhere, addicted to drugs, and living in my parents basement. Roots housing have me the structure I needed to grow. I’m not sure where I’d be at in life without roots
